If you are a fan of the kpop idol group EXO, you know how talented this group is already. They are one of the most popular kpop boy bands in the world. They have been breaking records and setting trends for years. However, they are not just musically skilled. Most of the members are also talented actors. They have been in many dramas in lead and supporting roles. Here is a list of 17 Korean dramas with EXO members.

EXO Next Door (2015)

I have to put this drama at the top of my list of Korean dramas with EXO members. It is definitely the ultimate EXO drama because it is the only one that has all the members.

Ji Yeon-hee is very shy. Because she is an extreme introvert, she has had zero dating experience at 23 years old. When she is talking to someone she likes, she has a tendency to blush a lot and becomes paralyzed. One day, she finds out that four handsome young men moved into the house right next door. Yeon-hee soon realizes that they are four members of her favorite boy band: Chanyeol, D.O., Baekhyun, and Sehun. They are trying to lay low for a while. She starts working for them part-time by cleaning their house and she realizes that Chanyeol is her childhood crush, Chan. He is also the house owner’s grandson. She soon becomes involved in a love triangle between Chanyeol and D.O.

How Are You Bread (2020)

How Are You Bread” tells the story of a brilliant baker, talented beyond his years, named Han Do Woo who refuses to go on a baking competition show. However, the show’s writer Mi Rae will not give up and will try anything to convince him to agree to do the show. Her job is on the line and she cannot take no for an answer. She starts coming to the bakery a lot to try and change his mind. Can her determination to get him on the show lead to more than just a working relationship?

Note: Out of all the EXO dramas, this one is my least favorite. I would recommend watching it last.

100 Days My Prince (2018)

Lee Yul (D.O.) is the Crown Prince of Joseon. He appears cold and is not close to anyone who lives in the royal palace. But in fact, he is simply very lonely. One day, he passes a strange law that requires all Korean citizens to get married before they turn 28. After an attempted assassination, Lee Yul is injured and loses all his memories. He wanders around aimlessly and ends in the care of Hong Shim and her father. Hong Shim is a strong and intelligent young lady who has to take on multiple jobs to make enough money to support her father. She is not married but she is approaching the deadline. To prevent her from getting in trouble with town officials, Lee Yul and Hong Shim get married.

Note: This probably one of the best EXO dramas. I hope you enjoy this one.

Rich Man (2018)

Lee Yoo Chan (Suho) is the founder and CEO of the IT company “Next In”. He suffers from a condition called prosopagnosia; he cannot recognizes the faces of familiar people. Because of his illness, it is hard for him to trust people. Nonetheless, he managed to build a company that has become the best place to work. Kim Bo Ra is famous in her hometown on Jeju Island. She came to Seoul to attend college and now that she is about to graduate her dream is to work for Next In. When Kim Bora and Lee Yoo Chan meet, their lives may never be the same.

Dokgo Rewind (2018)

“Dokgo Rewind” is based on a webtoon of the same name. Dokgo Rewind is the prequel to the webtoon “Dokgo”. The story focuses on the events that took place one year before “Dokgo”. Kang Hyuk ( Sehun) saves Gyu Soon after he is attacked by bunch troublemakers. Gyu Soon is impressed by how good Kang Hyuk is at fighting; He asks Kang Hyuk to teach him how to fight so that he can protect his sister. Kang Hyuk agrees and they become fast friends. However, things escalate when Gyu Soon is beaten to death by a group of high school students.

Secret Queen Makers (2018)

This drama is more of a commercial for Lotte Duty Free Mall. It aired on Youtube and Naver TV Cast. It tells the story of a geeky travel agent who lacks confidence. She gets the of 6 handsome male lead actors that she met in a Lotte Duty Free Mall. They help her gain confidence and become more beautiful.

Andante (2017)

  • Genre: Romance, Comedy
  • Episodes: 16

This drama is about a high school student named Shi-Kyung (Kai) who suddenly has to move out to the countryside. He is transferred to a mysterious high school and he is faced with a lot of trying and unfamiliar situations that push him and make him realize the true meaning of life and love.

7 First Kisses (2016)

  • Genre: Romance, Comedy
  • Episodes: 8

This drama is another commercial for Lotte Duty Free Mall. It tells the story of Min Soo Jin who is a receptionist working at Lotte DutyFree mall. She has never had a boyfriend or ever been kissed. On her 25th birthday, she makes a wish. She wants to have a boyfriend. While at work, she helps a mysterious woman who offers to repay her by granting her wish of having a boyfriend. So one by one, the mysterious woman introduces Min Soo Jin to 7 different handsome men.

Positive Physique (2016)

  • Genre: Romance, Comedy
  • Episodes: 6

This exo drama is a web show. This is a story about Hwan Dong, a student majoring in film. He is under a lot of pressure because he is preparing for his graduation project as a movie director. He finds himself facing obstacles after obstacles in order to get everything and finish the film. Realizing that he cannot do it on his own, he asks his ex-girlfriend Hye Jung to become the lead in his production. She is understandably shocked by his sudden request.

Choco Bank (2016)

Choco Bank is a web drama dealing with the financial requirements involved when launching a startup business. Kim Eun Haeng (Kai) just graduated from college and is now entering the workforce. Eun Haeng is hoping that his name brings him luck. His dad named him Eun Haeng because it means Bank in Korean. He meets a woman named Ha Cho Co who is trying to start a business. Together, they will learn about the struggles of being in their 20’s and starting to work and more financial service industry.

Falling For Do Jeon (2015)

This is a web drama. Na Do Jeon (XiuMin) is a part-timer. But even though he is shy he works as a Pierrot clown because he really loves making people laugh. He meets Ban Hana at One Plus hobby. Ban Hana’s dream is to open her own food truck one day. They start developing feelings for each other and start to have a relationship. The story will showcase how they lean on each other in their fight to prevent One Plus from closing its doors.

Dramas with EXO Member in a Supporting Role

The following shows cannot technically be considered EXO dramas since none of the members have a lead role, but I thought you would enjoy them nonetheless.

Memories of the Alhambra (2018)

Memories of the Alhambra tells the story of the CEO of an investment company named Yoo Jin Woo who falls in love with a hostel owner named Jung Hee Joo after they meet under very unusual circumstances. Yoo Jin Woo is passionate about developing video games. He hears about a new augmented reality game that he is determined to buy the rights to. The only problem is that the creator of the game is a mysterious young man who lives with his older sister Jung Hee Joo. She used to be a classical guitarist who came to Spain to further her studies. But after her parents pass away, she takes on various part-time jobs to support herself, her siblings, and the old hostel.

Note: In this drama, Chanyeol plays Jung Se Joo, Jung Hee Joo’s little brother, and the game inventor.

Miracle That We Met (2018)

A man who has lived an ordinary life dies in a car crash. However, instead of moving on his spirit awakes inside another man’s body. The most interesting thing is this man the same name, is the same age as he is. But he has a very different background from him. He becomes the head of two different families and has to find a way to manage his life with his two different wives.

Note: Kai plays Ato in this drama in a supporting role. He is an angel.

Missing 9 (2017)

  • Genre: Mystery, Suspense
  • Episodes: 16

A plane that was transporting a group of famous individuals from the industry crashes and all everyone believes that all 9 passengers are dead. However, Ra Bong Hee is found on a beach in China 4 months after the crash. She becomes the only known survivor of a plane crash and everyone wants answers. When she returns to Korea, the spotlight is on her because everyone including all the fans wants to know what happened to the artists that they love so much. They want to know how she survived the crash and what happened to the others. The only problem is that Ra Bong Hee suffered memory loss from the crash and does not remember what happened. However, she will have to force herself to remember if she expects the public to leave her.

Note: In this drama, Chanyeol plays Lee Yeol in a supporting role.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016)

  • Genre: Romance, Historical, Supernatural
  • Episode: 20

One day during a total eclipse of the sun, Go Ha Jin is magically transported back in time at the beginning of the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea. She appears during King Taejo’s rule and wakes up in the body of 16-year-old Hae So in the house of 8th Prince Wang Wook. The 8th prince is married to her cousin. She becomes friend with several of the prince and becomes close to the lonely and cold Wang So. Unfortunately, she inadvertently becomes the pawn in the political struggle for the throne as several of the princes falls in love with her.

Note: Baekhyun plays the role of the 10th prince. The leads also have stunning visuals so this drama is very easy on the eyes.

I Remember You (2015)

  • Genre: Thriller, Mystery, Romance
  • Episodes: 16

Lee Hyun is a genius profiler who returns home to Korea after he suddenly remembers something from his past while working on a case. His return will trigger a series of dangerous events. He does not know that one of his team members, Detective Cha Ji-an, has been investigating him for a while now. She is trying to catch a criminal named Lee Joon Young. Lee Hyun also wants to catch this criminal because he murdered his father.

Note.: D.O. has a supporting role as Lee Jun Yung. So you might not see him as often. But with Seo In Gul and Park Bo Gum as the leads, I am sure you will find some consolation.

It’s Okay, That’s Love (2014)

  • Genre: Comedy, Romance, Psychological
  • Episodes: 16

Jang Jae Yeol is a famous mystery novelist and popular radio DJ with a prickly personality. He unexpectedly meets psychiatrist Ji Hae Soo when they both participate on a talk show panel which dived deeper into the topic of the criminal mind. Unfortunately during the show, their personalities clash. But after a series of unfortunate events, Jae Yeol finds himself living with Hae Soo who becomes his roommate. Can living together help them heal their emotional scars and become closer?

Note: In this drama D.O. is in a supporting role as Han Kang Woo.
